Our History |
Founded in 1989, Mary Kozlowski Architect, Inc. was the first woman owned architecture firm in Nevada. Since then, Mary Kozlowski Architect, Inc. has developed an international reputation for excellence in planning and design. As the Architect-of-Record on the Fremont Street Experience, we led a team that completed design work over one month early despite last-minute owner changes. When the original idea of a sky parade proposed by the planning architect was proven unworkable, Mary Kozlowski came up with the idea of a light show. This concept saved the project and thus created the iconic show that is famous worldwide. This project saved a dying downtown and served as the major catalyst for the complete renewal and revitalization of downtown Las Vegas. It stands as an example of what a properly planned and designed redevelopment project can do to successfully transform a distressed urban area. Due to the enormous success of the project, Mary Kozlowski Architect, Inc. has been selected to consult, design and develop hotel/resort, casino, entertainment and mixed-use projects all over the world. We have designed and developed projects all over North America, Asia and Africa. Mary Kozlowski has also done numerous feasibility studies for projects in those areas as well and produced full business plans for a number of them. We have designed award winning custom homes that have set the standard for creative design in their areas.
